NOVAMUNE®

COMPOSITION

Novamune® is an IBD immune complex vaccine consisting of the SYZA 26 strain linked to specific antibodies called Virus Protecting Immunoglobulins, to be administrated at day 1 in the hatchery.

INDICATIONS

For the active immunization of healthy day-old chicks against classical or very virulent Infectious Bursal Disease (Gumboro Disease).

There is no need for determination of MDA level prior to vaccination; the delivery vehicle is timing the vaccine virus release individually, according to the maternally-derived antibody level of the chicks. One full dose is guaranteed to be administered to each chick. There is no risk linked to water administration of usual IBD vaccines.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE

One-day-old pullets must receive one full dose of vaccine (in 0.2 ml of diluent/dose) subcutaneously in the back of the neck.

Before use, the vaccine must be thawed and diluted appropriately with the vaccine diluent as stated in the package insert. Immediately use the vaccine and occasionally mix to ensure uniform suspension.

STORAGE

Store this vaccine in liquid nitrogen.
